BIOAZUL'S HIGH-FREQUENCY ULTRASONIC HUMIDIFIERS ARE SYSTEMS THAT ALLOW ONE TO EXERCISE APPROPRIATE CONTROL OVER RELATIVE AIR HUMIDITY WITH LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION.
Humidifiers produce tiny droplets of water measuring between 1 and 3 microns through very high-frequency vibrations (1.7MHz), generating a mist which provides the desired humidity conditions in the area where they are applied.
A good ventilation system in the area one wishes to humidify will in turn ensure there is uniform relative humidity for fresh or frozen products.
The energy consumption of Bioazul’s humidifiers is very low (up to 30% less than conventional systems) and they require very little maintenance. Another added advantage is that they produce practically no noise. Furthermore, they allow for a reduction in the energy consumption of the refrigeration chamber compressors, thanks to the adiabatic cooling effect produced by the mist.
The use of ultrasonic humidifiers makes it possible to save on labour costs. Their use in refrigeration chambers ensures that it is not necessary to wrap products to prevent the loss of water, and their application in shops allows fresh produce to be kept in displays for 24 hours (without storing it in a chamber), thus leading to lower losses in merchandise due to falls and/or handling, along with a reduction in associated working hours.
Bioazul humidifiers are supplied in modular units. Tailored systems are therefore configured depending on the capacity required by the client.
Safety and Hygiene
From the point of view of safety and hygiene, our equipment complies with the Royal Decree 865/2003 and the UNE 100030 standard regarding the prevention and control of Legionella proliferation:
Humidifiers can be connected directly to mains water, although BIOAZUL recommends the use of demineralized water. A reverse osmosis system contributes to the elimination of pathogens, calcium and minerals normally present in mains water, minimizing system maintenance and greatly extending the life of the equipment.
They are made of chemically polished stainless steel.
To ensure maximum hygiene, the water inside the system is constantly moving and automatic washing cycles are performed every hour. This measure helps to prevent the water temperature exceeding 20ºC.
The system also incorporates an ozone generator, which can be programmed and ensuring the complete disinfection of the equipment.
