From July 8 to 11, 2025, the University of Granada will host TerraenVision 2025, an international conference bringing together scientists, policymakers, professionals, and civil society to explore how nature-based solutions (NbS) can support the transition toward a sustainable society within planetary boundaries.
The program includes keynote lectures, panel discussions, parallel sessions, and poster presentations covering topics such as:
Sustainable agriculture and ecosystem restoration
Natural risk management: wildfires, floods, and droughts
Urban and industrial nature-based solutions
Tools and methodologies to assess NbS impact (AI, remote sensing, etc.)
Transition toward a circular and climate-resilient society
Pre- and post-conference excursions will be organized to visit local initiatives in Málaga and Granada, including aquifer management, post-fire landscape restoration, and sustainable farming practices.
TerraenVision 2025 is a unique opportunity to connect science, policy, and practice in the pursuit of sustainable solutions.
