Next 11th and 12th December, 2018 will take place the Conference “Opportunities for Collaboration University – Business before the new European Framework Program for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe” at the Center for Scientific Research Isla de la Cartuja (cicCartuja).

It is an event organized by the University of Seville together with the Andalusian Agency of Knowledge and the Technological and Industrial Development Center (CDTI) as well as with the participation of collaborating entities, among which Bioazul stands out. The objective of the event is to develop synergies with the business sector and increase joint participation in the Framework Programs for Research and Innovation of the European Union, specifically in the next Horizon Europe framework program (2021-2027), as well as to increase the relationship with the productive and business sector.

This day, therefore, seeks to become the meeting point between companies and research groups to exchange new ideas and take advantage of opportunities for collaboration and development of projects of scientific, technological, economic and social impact offered in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. To this end, sessions will be held on Global Challenges and strategic areas led by experts in the development of European projects and H2020 program managers, including National Contact Points.

These sessions on Global Challenges consist of round tables where different topics will be discussed:

  • Health.

  • Digital and industry.
  • Climate, energy and mobility.
  • Food and natural resources.
  • Robotics
