European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform

The European Commission and the European Economic & Social Committee (EESC) have created the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform

The European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (#CEstakeholderEU) brings together stakeholders active in the broad field of the circular economy in Europe. This Platform is aiming to exchange and interact, and make circular economy happen faster to the benefit of all.

Actually, all the stakeholders (public authorities, businesses, trade unions, civil society…) can search here for best practices, find related contacts and submit their own good practices.

At BIOAZUL, we define ourselves as one of those agents that is committed to the circular economy as the fundamental basis for a sustainable future. We have already upload our experience with Richwater project. It has developed a treatment plant for urban wastewater and reuse of reclaimed water in the cultivation of tropical fruits and tomato. During the next year we want to share the experience of the Water2Return project, as soon as the water treatment plant is working and we have the first results.

As a “network of networks” the EU Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform goes beyond sectorial activities and highlights cross-sector opportunities and challenges, providing a meeting place for stakeholders to share their solutions and team up to address specific challenges, while bridging existing initiatives, and advocating the circular economy at national, regional and local level, and supporting its implementation.

Furthermore, in 2018 the website will continue to grow to make possible the interaction between them, The EESC plan to offer interactive features with topical discussions to foster dialogue.
