GREENCITIES & SUSTAINABILITY TRADE FAIR

BIOAZUL visited the fourth edition of the Greencities Fair, that took place last October 2nd – 3rd, 2013 in the Trade Fair and Congress Centre of Málaga, Spain.

The main topics of this event were the following:

  • Materials and efficient systems for edification
  • Efficient conditioning
  • Efficient lighting
  • Rehabilitation
  • Sustainable mobility
  • Applied technologies
  • Automation
  • Urbanism and sustainable architecture
  • Energy services consultancy
  • Funding and grants
  • Regulations, inspections and certifications
  • Water and Waste treatment

The fair counted with more than 2500 visitors, 129 speakers, 58 companies exposing their products and services in the networking area, 31 scientific papers and sustainable urbanism and edification projects and 300 public workers of the concerned areas from more than 100 different cities.

In parallel to the Greencities fair, the first edition of Tikal Forum (i.e., Forum of Technology, Innovation and Knowledge on Latin America) took also place, whose main aim is the improvement of the intelligent management of the cities.

BIOAZUL visited the fair in order to disseminate the work carried out within the TURaS project, contacting with relevant stakeholders at national level related to TURaS topics.
