The objective of this event was to give practical knowledge about different ways towards internationalization with the idea that other companies could learn and benefit from these experiences. With this purpose, the event was divided into two topics:
On the one hand, Antonia Lorenzo, representing BIOAZUL, spoke about the available opportunities for companies’ internationalization through the R&D&I programs in the frame of Horizon 2020, the program that funds research and innovation projects of several thematic areas in a European context, with almost € 80,000 million for the 2014-2020 period. This program includes companies, as well as researchers, technological centres or public entities.
On the other hand, ANINVER, represented by Bernardo Gil (Director of Business Development), told their experience working with multilateral organizations and explained how they represent a great business opportunity for companies willing to reach the international level (valued at an amount of 60,000 Million $ Annually) and despite the preconceived idea that only large companies can benefit from this, in many cases these projects are also business opportunities for SMEs.
At the end of the day, there was a space dedicated to solving doubts and encouraging collaboration among participants through the creation of working groups.
