Bioazul’s reverse osmosis plants are filtration systems that allow all the bacteria, viruses and multivalent and univalent ions to be eliminated, along with most of the contaminants present in the water needing treatment (industrial wastewater, network wells, wastewater purification, etc.). The water produced by them contains a very low salt concentration and is suitable for reuse in most industrial processes, thereby protecting facilities from the corrosion caused by high conductivity and doing away with the risk of microbiological contamination. Depending on the application in question, Bioazul adjusts the water to the specific characteristics each client requires, thus allowing the process to be enhanced and maintenance to be reduced.
REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS
BIOAZUL'S REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANTS ARE FILTRATION PLANTS THAT ALLOW ALL THE BACTERIA, VIRUSES AND MULTIVALENT AND UNIVALENT IONS TO BE ELIMINATED, ALONG WITH MOST OF THE CONTAMINANTS PRESENT IN THE WATER TO BE TREATED (INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER, NETWORK WELLS, WASTEWATER PURIFICATION, ETC.).
Bioazul has optimised the system to reduce rejections as much as possible, attaining conversion rates of up to 75%. Bioazul’s systems work within a range of 1 to 16 bars depending on the client’s requirements, and use membranes with outstanding flow/surface area performance.
Applications
Reuse of industrial process wastewater – Source of osmosis water for cooling towers – Making well water suitable for industrial and residential use – Ultrapure water for specific industrial processes – Water for human consumption – Making salt water and seawater fit for human consumption – Water for making beverages – Irrigation water – Concentrating products for their recovery – Recovering valuable substances
Eliminating a wide range of contaminants
Advantages
Compact modular systems – Reduced facility surface area – High filtration yields – Reduced maintenance – Remote alarm, control and monitoring systems – Low-pressure membranes
High flow/surface area performance
