The relative humidity in a greengrocer is extremely low both in winter, due to heating, and in summer, due to air conditioning. This causes the fresh produce on display to lose quality rapidly, due to the loss of water caused by this dry environment.
For this reason, a greengrocer in the province of Barcelona contacted BIOAZUL to find a solution to keep their products fresh for longer. BIOAZUL installed, together with its partner WINDFRED, an UltraFRESH ultrasonic humidification unit that would allow adiabatic cooling while providing perfect humidity conditions in the central island of the establishment.
On this occasion, it was decided to install a system with a built-in chassis that allows a simple installation under the fruit and vegetable display island.
