BIOAZUL participated in the International Water Week in Amsterdam which took place on November 2nd-6th. The conference was focused on the topic ‘Integrated solutions for a circular economy and resilient cities’. This conference is one of the most important international events related to Integrated Water Solutions, where more than 25000 professionals, the Industry Leaders Forum and international delegations and partnerships attended the different sessions.

BIOAZUL presented the main results of SuWaNu project.  n particular, it presented the oral communication titled “Joint Action Plan for the reuse of waste water in agriculture in five EU countries”. Mr. Rafael Casielles, general coordinator of SuWaNu project, explained the strategies defined by the 5 participating regions.

The communication was followed by an interesting debate among the attendees about the use of alternative water resources in the context of water scarcity. Reclaimed water was agreed to be a valuable complement to other resources which can increase water available for several uses.
